Graphic artist, clothing designer, dj, model, and all around good guy are just a few ways to describe the multi-talented Matt Sykes. He is a kind and compassionate creative whose interests are vast. His imagination allows him to create music and art that can be somewhat dark, but still very intricate and truly unique. His style is edgy and raw; like a blast of cold air on a winter night, it will shock you. Matt has several pseudonyms and is also recognized by the name SH4M4N for this other big projects. This international man of genius recently took like out of his busy schedule to fill out one of our questionaires; here's what he had to say.

Sativa for social, Indica for writing music or making art. Such as drawing, painting, graffiti.

When songs would just naturally write themselves due to the fact I go with the flow and ride the high, And all my music reflects on how I felt that day, what I was going through, or what strain of weed I was smoking.

It helps my creativity flow, it puts me in the moment and it allows me to silence my mind and translate my creativity of being in the moment to write music.
Do you feel that bringing public awareness to cannabis inspired art and music can help lift the stigma that cannabis artists and users throughout the world might feel?
What do you think is the biggest misconception that anti marijuana advocates might have about cannabis users? How do you think that we can eliminate the negative outlook that non-cannabis users might have for cannabis using artists and musicians?
That its a “gateway drug” we can eliminate it by legalizing it like Colorado.
